MBBA is the largest sporting club/association in Murray Bridge and boasts one of the largest venues, which we have exclusive use of. We run competitions year-round.

Based in Murray Bridge, MBBA offers a domestic basketball competition for both juniors and seniors, as well as Association representative teams (the 'Murray Bridge Bullets'). It also provides a high-performance pathway through SA Country Basketball.

Murray Bridge Basketball has a rich history, dating back to its time in the district basketball system as part of the Basketball SA State League and the Victorian State League (SEABL). Local competitions were also held in various capacities. However, the district license was revoked due to financial issues and later reissued under an amalgamation of Murray Bridge with Mt Lofty Basketball, now known as Eastern Mavericks. Although Murray Bridge has been distant from the district system for some time, we are now reconnecting with Eastern and are determined to provide a pathway to the district system via Eastern.

We aim to increase public accessibility, be recognized as South Australia's leading and professionally run sports organisation for enjoying basketball in a safe and fun environment.
